Soby

A small companion

Days without drinking or using

Soby is a small companion for getting through them. You name a little buddy, check in with how you feel, take a short lesson, breathe, or start a 10-minute craving timer. Days, money kept, and milestones live on Journey.

An account is coming, so your progress can follow you. The TestFlight build still keeps check-ins on the phone. Soby is a companion, not treatment and not a crisis line.

What you can do with it

A daily check-in

Great, good, okay, tired, anxious, or struggling. Add a note if you want. The buddy answers in kind.

Short lessons

A few quiet minutes on cravings, the first week, and the money you're keeping. Some later lessons are still on the way.

Breathe, or wait ten minutes

A slow breath, and a timer for when a craving wants a decision right now. The urge can peak and pass.

Journey

Days you've kept, money from the amount you set, and milestones from the first day through a year and beyond.

Kept
Two weeks
Next

7 days until Two weeks.

Money here uses an example $8 a day so you can see the idea. In the app, the amount is whatever you enter. The first TestFlight build keeps it on the phone.

Quiet on purpose

  • Sage, a pale green room, and peach cheeks. The same palette as the app.
  • Milestones at a day, three days, a week, two weeks, then months and years. A scarf, medal, and crown show up along the way. Glasses come from finishing lessons.
  • Alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, opioids, gambling, or something you name yourself.
  • If a feeling is anxious or struggling, the app keeps support close, including 988 and SAMHSA.

Try a breath, or a short timer

Breathe

Ready

A slow breath for when things feel loud. You can pause. This circle stays in the browser.

Craving timer

0:20

In the app this runs for 10 minutes, long enough to let the urge peak and pass. This page uses a 20-second preview so you can try the idea.
